Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions families ask us most.

What types of care do you provide?

We provide non-medical home care services including companionship, personal care assistance, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, dementia support, respite care, and more.

Can care be customized?

Absolutely. Every client receives a personalized care plan based on their individual needs and schedule.

Do you provide short-term and long-term care?

Yes. There are a variety of care options available to you, whether you require assistance on an occasional basis or support on a daily basis.

Do you help families find healthcare professionals?

Yes. Through our Care Network, we can connect families with trusted healthcare providers and specialized senior support services when appropriate.

How do I get started?

It begins with a free consultation, where we learn about your loved one's needs and answer any questions you have. From there, we build a personalized care plan and match you with the right caregiver.

Is there a minimum number of hours required?

No. Families are never forced to pay for more care than they require because it is possible to begin with only a few hours per week and expand as the requirements change.

Can I combine multiple services?

Yes. The majority of families combine two or three services, whether it be personal care, meals, or transportation, depending on the requirements of their loved one that are most important.

Will we always have the same caregiver?

Whenever possible, we schedule the same caregiver consistently, so your loved one can build a real, familiar relationship over time.

How quickly can care begin?

In most cases, we can begin care shortly after your consultation, once a care plan is in place and the right caregiver is matched.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Care plans can be adjusted or paused as your family's circumstances change, without rigid long-term commitments.

Are your caregivers background checked?

Yes. Every caregiver completes background checks, reference reviews, and in-person interviews before joining our team.

What if a caregiver is not the right fit?

We want every match to feel right. If the fit is not working, let us know and we will find a caregiver better suited to your loved one's personality and needs.

Can services change as needs change?

Yes. We regularly review each care plan and adjust services as a senior's needs evolve, whether that means more support or less.

Do you provide medical care?

Our caregivers provide non-medical support. For clients who also need nursing or clinical care, we connect families with trusted professionals through our Care Network.
